William Bradshaw and Fool's Gold
William Bradshaw has been trapped on the world of Other Place as King of the Goblins for an entire year, no small accomplishment! In that time he’s beaten the army of Kervol Ket, destroyed the dreaded Staff of Skulls and most recently buried the immortal madmen of the Eternal Army. He’s also managed to keep from being driven mad by his short, stupid and mildly crazy goblin followers, who respect him even if they won’t listen to him. Now he faces a greater challenge, matrimony. Lydia Lajcak of the Fairy Godmothers has arrived in the Kingdom of the Goblins to find Will a wife. It turns out that being broke and in charge of a nation of idiots isn’t the relationship killer Will thought it was. Lydia isn’t taking no for an answer, and she’s got seventy clients eager to meet Will and desperate enough to put up with his goblins. Is marital bliss in Will’s future? But the search for true love takes a turn for the worse when an assassin attacks Will and Lydia. More assassins follow, each one more deadly than the last and sent by Quentin Peck, the richest man on Other Place. Peck has killers, mercenaries, magic weapons, golems, lawyers and the home court advantage when Will tracks him to the city of Nolod. Will is determined to win or go down fighting with his enthusiastic fire scepter, countless goblins, troll bodyguards, magic mirror and Lydia. Now if he only knew why Peck wants him dead.

There's a new King in Town! That's the good news. The bad news is that Will Bradshaw has problems. He's new on the job but he's already made enemies with a fire-breathing dragon. Aside from all that, all he has to worry about is a war. And that's the trouble. Throughout recorded history the goblins have never won a battle, much less a war. But things are going to be different this time around. William Bradshaw is determined to win, using every means at his disposal, including stealth, subterfuge and exploding outhouses.

Goblin Stories
The world of Other Place is filled with elves, men, ogres, trolls, dwarfs and goblins, lots and lots of goblins. Many goblins live in the Kingdom of the Goblins, but far more live in caves and crude settlements scattered across their world. They pull pranks and set traps in the fine goblin tradition while doing their best to avoid the consequences.

At times goblins get caught up in wars, revolutions and disasters. They run in fear from such events, as goblins know being brave often leads to being dead, but sometimes they can’t get away fast enough. Small, weak, stupid and just a bit crazy, they should be crushed underfoot when this happens…except they’re not.

Facing an army of criminals and thieves, goblins aren’t running. Instead they find friends to stand with them, be they revolutionaries, holy men, wizards or heroes. They steal powerful weapons that can tip the balance in their favor. Strangest of all, they set traps big enough to catch armies. Goblins are standing up for themselves and their friends, and Other Place will never be the same.
