The title of the second book in the 'I Wish series" is a play on the words color blind. "I WISH COLORS WERE BLIND" is told from the viewpoint of a precious child and her desire for all people to see the inner beauty of each member of society. Her idealistic wish is also realistic if we choose to see the beauty God created in each one of us.

The first book of the " I Wish" series is a story told from the viewpoint of a child who wishes his daddy was Santa Claus and then imagines how life would be for himself and "Mommy" if he was. This story, told in rhythmic fashion, highlights the thought life and innocence of a child trying to understand and explain the mystery of Santa Claus. The reader gets an up close look at the imagination and character of a boy who wishes to draw closer to his father and the evolution of "Daddy" as he becomes his Christmas hero.
