This Side This Side This Side This Side Up: An Alternative Approach to Social Design is my graduate thesis, completed for Pratt Institute’s MFA Communications Design program. The thesis advocates an approach to social design in which design acts as neither problem solving nor speculative critique, but as a catalyst that shifts perceptions and propels itsaudience to action.The written thesis and corresponding body of work were represented in both a designed book and a gallery exhibition. This thesis book reflects the central component of disrupting perception and acknowledging multiple ways of experiencing the same reality by reading in multiple directions. There’s no clearly “correct” direction that the reader should follow.

About Twin Turbulence The story starts in 2004 when journaling became first-time author Kristin Myers' outlet. This is not a handbook - it's a labor of love. While reading you will nod, laugh and empathize with Kristin as a woman, as a parent, as a wife, as the mother of twins (which is a completely different ballgame) and as part of a team facing a cancer diagnosis. Coffee with the Savior is about relationship. Women long for the fulfillment of relationship with their Savior. This study helps show the way using the example of Moses' relationship to the Lord God. The study is inspired by Jeremiah 29:12–13: "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." (ESV®) Topics include God's desire that we come to Him, that we pray to Him, and that we receive His gifts. The concluding chapter encourages women to continue her commitment through dedicated personal study of God's Word and recognize her value in the Body of Christ.
