Motherhood Club (2 Book Series)

Forbidden Bookshelf (27 Book Series)
From Book 1:
A look at America in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and the capitalists who changed the world—setting the stage for the most devastating global financial collapse in history—from “a diligent and perceptive reporter” (Forbes).

In the decades following the Civil War, America entered an era of unprecedented corporate expansion, with ultimate financial power in the hands of a few wealthy industrialists who exploited the system for everything it was worth. The Rockefellers, Fords, Morgans, and Vanderbilts were the “lords of creation” who, along with like-minded magnates, controlled the economic destiny of the country, unrestrained by regulations or moral imperatives. Through a combination of foresight, ingenuity, ruthlessness, and greed, America’s giants of industry remolded the US economy in their own image. They established their power and authority, ensuring that they—and they alone—would control the means of production, transportation, energy, and commerce—creating the conditions for the stock market collapse of 1929 and the Great Depression that followed.

As modern society continues to be affected by wealth inequality and cycles of boom and bust, it’s as important as ever to understand the origins of financial disaster, and the policies, practices, and people who bring them on. The Lords of Creation, first published when the catastrophe of the 1930s was still painfully fresh, is a fascinating story of bankers, railroad tycoons, steel magnates, speculators, scoundrels, and robber barons. It is a tale of innovation and shocking exploitation—and a sobering reminder that history can indeed repeat itself.

From the Files of Linda Fairstein (7 Book Series)
From Book 1:
Linda Fairstein unmasks the true face of psychopathy, and reveals the warning signs that every woman should know

The 2009 “Craigslist Killer” murder case shocked America, not just because of the heinous nature of the crimes but because their perpetrator—a handsome young law student with an unsuspecting girlfriend—seemed a very unlikely suspect. This killer, like others before him, had learned to leverage his charm and golden-boy looks to lure his victims, a skill many psychopaths learn to master. In Killer Charm, legal expert Linda Fairstein draws on her decades of experience in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office to uncover what traits psychopaths often share, and how to spot them. She illustrates these points with the stories of some of America’s most notorious sex criminals, such as Ted Bundy and Marvin Teicher.
Originally published in Cosmopolitan, this essay is now available in digital format for the first time and features a new introduction by the author.

Gute Nacht, Baby! (Reihe in 3 Bänden)

• Schlafrhythmus
• Schlafprobleme
• Was das Baby wach hält
• Was SIE TUN KÖNNEN, damit Ihr Kind besser schläft

Do you suspect you could be making more?

Why This Book is for You

I find many job candidates are aggravated by the hidden nature of salaries. Ironically, employers dislike this topic too. Large Fortune 500 companies pay people specifically to analyze internal and external compensation plans to remain competitive and profitable. But this story is not about the employer’s challenges. It is about you.

Tony came to me completely frustrated. His top earning wage was 6-figures as a sales manager but he was not getting hits for those jobs. In fact, he was not getting face-to-face interviews for anything, even the positions he felt he could do in his sleep.

Desperate for a job, he was applying for anything from sales representative to sales manager.

I asked Tony if he was being asked about his desired salary during the application process. Like many applicants, he said he had seen that and he hated the question. He wished they would just tell him what the job paid or leave that discussion until the job offer. I asked him what he was saying about salary. He told me, “I present $75,000 as my base salary.”

I asked Tony if he was actually open to a range of salaries below and above that. He said yes but he really did not know what to put or what to say. The biggest problem with Tony’s job search was that a Sales Representative position was not going to pay the same amount as a Sales Manager. He was quoting too higher or too low depending on the role.

You cannot quote the same amount and hope to get jobs. You need to know what the job pays.

Although Tony intuitively understood that, he had still quoted the same figure over and over again essentially disqualifying himself before he ever got a face-to-face interview.

You probably have experienced this frustration yourself. It is common for job candidates to:
• Quote the same amount for all jobs
• Try to use their job search as a method to uncover what they should be earning
• Quote too high out of fear of getting a low-ball offer
• Quote too low out of fear of being disqualified
• Apply for a range of jobs to get ‘anything’
• Have no idea what to say during a negotiation
• Have no idea how to capture and communicate their value
• Have no idea what jobs pay
• Feel there is some hidden cosmic force playing against them

This e-Book and companion video class will cover:
1.1 – Salary negotiation myths
1.2 – What to quote for desired salary
1.3 – Performing a salary survey
1.4 – New hire salary negotiations and scripts
1.5 – Existing employee salary negotiations and scripts
1.6 – Alternative Negotiation Items

Salary negotiations are actually a continuation of your interview evaluation. The employers use your ability to negotiate well is actual indicator of your ability to succeed in the workplace. Employers appreciate a savvy job candidate that knows what a job is paying and how to negotiate.

Let’s solve this dilemma once and for all by learning exactly how to quote and negotiate salaries.

What You Will Be Able to Do After This Book
