The 18th century was a wealth of knowledge, exploration and rapidly growing technology and expanding record-keeping made possible by advances in the printing press. In its determination to preserve the century of revolution, Gale initiated a revolution of its own: digitization of epic proportions to preserve these invaluable works in the largest archive of its kind. Now for the first time these high-quality digital copies of original 18th century manuscripts are available in print, making them highly accessible to libraries, undergraduate students, and independent scholars. Medical theory and practice of the 1700s developed rapidly, as is evidenced by the extensive collection, which includes descriptions of diseases, their conditions, and treatments. Books on science and technology, agriculture, military technology, natural philosophy, even cookbooks, are all contained here. ++++ The below data was compiled from various identification fields in the bibliographic record of this title. Nkyin-Kyin

Nkyin-Kyin
This collection brings together essays written over a thirty-five year period. They reflect James Gibbs’s position vis-à-vis the Ghanaian theatre as sometimes a remote onlooker, sometimes an enthusiastic participant observer, deeply involved in issues of perception and influence in a society moving through colonialism to nationalism, independence and beyond. The main body of the book is divided into four sections. The first, “Outsiders and Activists,” looks at theatre for community development during the late 1940s, some connections between drama and film, and the astonishing involvement in Ghanaian performance culture of the Haitian poet and playwright Felix Morisseau–Leroy. The second section, “Intercultural Encounters,” examines ways in which classic Greek drama has been used by producers and writers in West Africa, with special reference to Victor Yankah, Kobina Sekyi (Ghana’s first published playwright), and the Nigerian Femi Osofisan. Section Three, “Plays and Playwrights,” concentrates on Efua Sutherland, Ama Ata Aidoo, and Joe de Graft. This section uncovers issues of documentation and achievement that draw attention to the need for investment in organising resources for writing Ghana’s theatre history. The volume draws to a close with personal accounts of touring student productions in the 1960s (with due attention to the influence of Bertolt Brecht) and of involvement in a British film production on location. The book closes with an updated complete bibliography of Ghana’s chief dramatist, Efua Sutherland.

Dixie Clockmakers

Dixie Clockmakers
The magnificent artistry and craftmanship of eighteenth and nineteenth century clockmakers in the South has been recorded in this lavishly illustrated volume. Entitled Dixie Clockmakers, the 192-page volume traces the development of clockmaking and horological history below the Mason-Dixon line and documents the works of those artisans who designed and constructed some of the world's finest timepieces. Author James W. Gibbs focuses primarily upon clockmaking in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and the District of Columbia, but attention also is given to eight other states. Included are some 60 photographs illustrating outstanding examples and details of Southern clockmaking. The first in-depth study of Southern clockmakers, the volume also lists every known clockmaker and watchmaker in the South during the two centuries, along with nomenclature common at the time, and advertisements used by individual craftsmen.

Anger Book
Everyone can't verbally formulate their feelings when confronted with something that shocks them. In Anger Book I attempted to come to the aid of those faced with this dilemma, I put expression to shock and dismay. How capable is that effort is not for me to address but for the public to address? Was I angry when I wrote the book? You're damn right I was and I am still angry. Do I want revenge? Yes I do. I wanted it then and I want it now. I refuse to turn the other creek.

The Poetry Of Impeachment
This book covers events surrounding the impeachment of President Clinton. Why did I choose him? Remember he was called the first black president and a lot of blacks were and are very fun of him? But it wasn't only because I greatly liked him that I wrote this, I hated the way he was treated. You don't dishonor an honorable man for political favor but our congress did and I am stating and have stated my objection to that measure.

F. U. O. J.
This book covers the three trials of OJ Simpson and what many say resulted in final justice. I agreed with the first verdict because of evidence tampering and mishandling not because he did or did not do it. But his arrogance and self destructiveness has caused me to make a different formulation and I am now more incline to think maybe he did get final justice.

The Cracker Pit by Nigger One

The Cracker Pit by Nigger One
I'm looking at my poetry thinking I need to close out pretty soon but the principle character keeps me leveled on the game as though I think there will be no tomorrow. Will he single handedly end the world? The Football is with him everywhere he goes even though I think it would take more than one person to launch such a massive attack, in other words bring about the end of the game. I'm not so certain about a tactical but if you are in that target area it is massive to you. A single ICBM can start world war III but it can't end it. That's why North Korea will never initiate a first nuclear strike the retaliation would make it a wasteland. The only country that is weapon tested and capable of a large scale nonconventional assault is this one. Although I think Russia tested their capabilities in Syria and it isn't ready. We tested everything we had short of nuclear, biological and chemical in Iraq and Afghanistan and tried cyber in Iran. We televise our wars to the world saying don't fuck with us and then Russia follows up saying don't fuck with us either. Only China is capable but says nothing because it's waiting on the big bird or the final arbitration. China is building or has a massive response capability, enough to take over the world after NATO and Russian annihilations which the Middle East will be drawn into including Israel whose land greed makes it target drawing. If Israel really wants to survive it should stand down US support and make peace with its neighbors. The US is the reason Israel doesn't make peace. The six or seven billions it gets makes it practice being an irritant especially since its people are not an area genetic fit. Still beyond all the outside complications we face, this election is really about white folks and their fear of people of color. The money is a secondary thing although they don't want to share it either. The way they put Hillary down says something about the misogyny. I'm not saying they don't love their women they do but they don't want a woman at the head of the game; one that knows how to carry the football. That's why their hole design was to show she couldn't ne trusted and the dark prince could. But a woman wouldn't be a hostile in fact Hillary would have been the opposite of hostile. Hillary thought being well to do was alright but she never thought being super rich was what she was about and she was not an Amazon. But the kind of President she would have been I guess we will never know because the Viking won. You saw him run. You saw him win with a little help from his friends. He is now the escalator president. Plain and simple the man acts like an evolving TV script of a crazy man that's not crazy which means he is danger. Again essence of the election is what I tried to capture. I thought once Hillary could run one more time but I guess she won't so good bye Hillary. You will be missed.
