Kimiake Higuchi demonstrates the making of a cabbage leaf, while her husband, Shin-ichi, produces a mosaic piece. Although they have no formal training in glassworking, the Higuchis have become highly respected teachers and artists.

Rudi Gritsch, the Austrian kiln forming artist and instructor, takes viewers through many of his processes involving the kiln. We follow Mr. Gritsch as he takes his work from the initial phases of design through the detailed setups, firings and finishing processes to completed works of art.

A two DVD set on the properties and processes of glassworking. This independent study was designed to be an easy visual reference on glassworking for a general museum audience (i.e., third grade students up to adults, as well as for educators). The first DVD contains 37 segements on glassworking processes, and the second has six on properties. Segments range from 30 seconds to three and half minutes in length.
