Seven Heretical Sermons is a collection of essays in sermon form intended for the layperson dealing with the impact of modern science on theology. Basically, they amount to a form of autobiography, with a lot of the facts left out. Many present his decidedly dry sense of humor and his odd way of looking at life; others are cries from the wilderness. Deceptively simple and clear, there is often a turn of phrase or line that gives you a kick in one part of the intellect or another.

I love writing about my faith in God When I first got the news from the doctor..I took my Bible and spent time in the park every day, there I went through the seven stages of mourning myself. Little did I know, that God was taking me on this journey by writing down my daily devotions with. Him..It''s been over 10 years now and I still continue to journal my deep fellowship with the Lord.
