Proverbs of james is not one of the lost books of the Holy Bible, nor one of the Dead Sea Scrolls and not even written by the author who wrote the book of James in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Proverbs of james is a book of short proverbs written in the style of the Biblical proverbs; a wise saying or precept. This book is the beginnings of the journey of a very young man who was called by Jesus to enter into an intimate and loving relationship with his Savior. As this young man, entered into that relationship, he began to be trained to hear the voice of the Lord and to respond to His voice. The proverbs written within were the communications between the Lord and himself. The early years of hearing were also years of training to write down what he was hearing so as to share it with others. That training led this young man into deep study of the Word and writing down of those studies so they could be plainly understood by those seeking truth; Habakkuk 2:2 "And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it."
