Yellowgrass Hill Slugs Have More Fun

release date: Apr 04, 2014
Yellowgrass Hill Slugs Have More Fun
Yellowgrass Hill was a busy little town with streets, houses, restaurants, cafes, and little animals that rode in old-fashioned automobiles. This beautiful town rested deep within a magical forest where animals walked, talked, and occasionally squawked. It was a peaceful place that ran down a long dirt road between stores, carrot crops, and yummy candy shops. There you could find a beaver playing a banjo or a weasel having a cup of tea with a rabbit or even a mouse and a cat who were the best of friends. Well, except for that one time. Now sit back and listen to the second tale of what life was like in Yellowgrass Hill.

A Brief Guide for Overcoming Approach Anxiety and Setting Up a Date

release date: Dec 31, 2019
A Brief Guide for Overcoming Approach Anxiety and Setting Up a Date
A lot of people, especially introverts find the idea of walking up to a strange woman, or any woman at all and making her his girlfriend extremely difficult. Truly, it is not really easy to summon that courage but being completely unable to walk up to girls is a challenge that needs to be seriously faced. As I have stated in the book, if as a guy, you are choosing to wait for any woman to find you attractive and ask you out, then you are giving yourself undue punishment. You are simply waiting for a woman that wants you and not the woman that you want. Do you really think you are that pathetic? No, you aren''t. You are probably above the league of that girl that you like but your mind just keeps giving you billions of reasons why she is not your class. This book will give you a very brief and comprehensive guide that would help you eliminate that anxiety and help you approach any woman you desire with proper techniques. In addition, it would help you boost your confidence and self esteem, show you how to chat with women online and give you tips on how to turn the ladies you have approached into your girlfriends.

Is the Mind Inherently Forward-Looking?

release date: Jan 01, 2007
Is the Mind Inherently Forward-Looking?
It has been suggested that prediction may be an organizing principle of the mind and/or the neocortex, with cognitive machinery specifically engineered to detect forward-looking temporal relationships, rather than merely associating temporally contiguous events. There is a remarkable absence of behavioral tests of this idea, however. To address this gap, subjects were shown sequences of shapes governed by stochastic Markov processes, and then asked to choose which shape reliably came after a probe shape (prediction test) or before it (retrodiction test). Prediction was never superior to retrodiction, even when subjects were forewarned of a forward-directional test. (Contains 4 figures and 3 tables.).

The Last Pantheon
"Dada?""Yes son?""Is that the first dwarves you have ever ever in your life ever met?""No, I know several, in truth.""Yeah, but not a MoonHammer or a King.""Actually, I do. Do you remember Azenairk Thalanaxe?""He is a Moon Hammer?! You met him!?" Alessandeir smiles with excitement, running back toward our keep, yet pausing to wait for me. I follow, listening to the faint sounds of the marching dwarves fade beyond the foothills."No, there is only one MoonHammer. But, I should tell you about Zens'' family I suppose. For he is related to kings, did I tell you this already?" I remember right where I left off, nearly one year ago."Really? No, umm, maybe you did. Tell me anyway, dada.""Are you certain son? Tis a bit scary, this part.""Tell me, tell me, dada. Please, and let''s have some more juice." Alessandeir runs back toward our home. I follow, still keeping my awareness about me, still feeling as though my past will catch up at any moment, from any shadow. The Curselands of Western Shanador. The Stormlands of Armondeen. No matter the name, it is a place no one returns from. Join Azenairk and his companions as the last leg of the promised journey turns west, in search of mythical Kakisteele. The deadly blades of Kendari of Stillwood are not far behind. The White Spider of Johnas Valhera are searching the western caravans at night for Kaya T''Vellon, once Jade of the West. Dark nobility of Armondeen consort with demons, planning to invade the very lands our heroes are walking into, and they are the sacrificial offering. The glory of Harlaheim hangs by a thread. Chazzrynn is moments from war between King and Prince. Lord Cristoff takes his exile west in divine guidance, his Queen, Bishop, and Knights in tow, with ten thousand refugees. All eyes and hearts now seek out Shinayne T''Sarrin, Saberrak Agrannar the Gray, Gwenneth Lazlette, James Andellis, and Azenairk Thalanaxe...yet where they have gone is a place beyond the storm. An epic fantasy two decades in the making, The Last Pantheon introduces readers to a dark new realm of legendary heroes and forgotten myths. Of hammers and storms is the fourth in the series, finishing The Exodus Sagas Quartet, and will be followed with next installment, from tower to temple.

Influence of Carbohydrate Electrolyte and Water Consumption on Urine Production with Metered and Bolus Rehydration
These studies compared the effects of varying administration techniques (metered (MET) versus bolus (BOL)) during both water and carbohydrate electrolyte beverage consumption, on urine production and total rehydration. Urine color (UC) and urine specific gravity (USG) were also assessed to determine the reliability of these practical field measures of hydration status. Male subjects (n=8) performed 4 total trials in a climate controlled environment (35°C, 55%RH) until 2% of body weight dehydration was achieved. Partial rehydration was achieved using 100% replacement of fluids lost during exercise, either with bolus consumption (

School Dress Code Policies and the Classroom Environment

release date: Jan 01, 2017
School Dress Code Policies and the Classroom Environment
Student dress codes exist to protect the learning environment at school. The purpose statement from Washington County School District''s (WCSD) 2013 policy on student dress states "every student in the schools should have the opportunity to learn in an environment which is safe, conducive to the learning process, and free from unnecessary disruption." Dress codes are in place to protect students'' physical safety, as noted by the section 3.1.4. of the WCSD policy on student dress, "Gang behavior, apparel or grooming is not appropriate at school," and dress codes are in place to protect school decorum as noted by section 3.1.2. "Students have the responsibility to avoid apparel that causes a distraction or disruption, interrupting school decorum and adversely affecting the educational process." Continuing in the WCSD policy, modesty seems to be the one thing that is especially important regarding distractions, disruptions, adn decorum.
