God gave to each of us a gift out of His own love. It is with this thought in mind that I started my study on some of the characteristics of God. I know that God is perfect and I should have known from the start that my understanding was lacking. It took a rather exhaustive study for me to conclude that I needed to know more about the Father. I wanted to let others in on that study, because I sensed that many were sharing that same boat that I was sailing in. We were not navigating a true course that led to an in-depth knowledge of the perfect Father. I know that this study will not bring a complete understanding of God the Father. After all, He is infinite in every respect of that word. We are, likewise, finite and incapable of knowing the depths of the greatness of God. But, we can study the scriptural references to Him and come away with the wisdom that we are approved by Him.
