Tôta et ses compagnons se sont rendus au pied de la fameuse tour Ama-no-mihashira pour y coincer le véritable ennemi de UQ Holder : Fate Averruncus. THE POWER OF FATE Tota meets Kirië Sakurame, a mysterious member of UQ Holder. Kirië looks like a little girl, but is apparently the wealthy patron of UQ Holder. Tota accompanies her on a trip to the tower to meet Karin (returning from the Moon), but the trip appears to have another purpose. The powerful wizard Fate Averruncus, former ally of Tota's grandfather Negi, wants to take possession of Tota for reasons unknown. Despite having Karin, Ikku, Kirië and Kuromaru with him, they stand little chance of stopping Fate, who possesses unfathomable power. Why does Fate want Tota? And can Kirië's secret plan succeed in stopping him?

Tôta et ses compagnons, qui séjournaient dans les bidonvilles pour leur première mission, se font soudain attaquer par la SMP Powerful Hand. Pendant la bataille, Tôta s'éveille à un étrange pouvoir, la Magia Erebea. Alors qu’il est à deux doigts de se faire capturer par Shion Nagumo, un chasseur d'immortels aveugle, les meilleurs éléments de UQ Holder, les « Numéros » font leur apparition. L'heure de la contre-offensive a sonné !

Tous les membres de la pension reviennent d’Okinawa et chacun reprend ses activités. Une grande question se pose : que vont faire Naru et Keitarô à propos de leurs études ? Deux nouveaux personnages entrent en scène, un certain monsieur Seta, pour qui Keitarô se met à travailler et une petite peste du nom de Sarah, qui considère manifestement Seta comme son père. Elle n’a pas fini d’en faire voir à notre pauvre Keitarô.
