John Jacob Rector (Hans Jacob Richter) (1674-ca. 1728) was born in Trupbach, Germany. He married Elizabeth Fishback (Elisabeth Fischbach) in 1711. They arrived in America in 1714 and with a few other families settled Germantown, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri and later throughout the United States.

Robert Bedwell (b. 1635) was born in London and is found in Virginia as early as 1661. Thomas Bedwell, son of Robert, lived in Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives scattered throughout the United States and into foreign countries. They include Mormons.

Research on James Keith Sr. indicates that he " ... was born in North England about 1720 and brought to Virginia as an infant by relatives or a guardian. ... records further show he first settled in what is now the Frederick/Shenandoah counties area of Virginia at a place called Noride and married as [sic] Miss Norid; or similar spelling. ... Several contemporary genealogists and descendants believed James Keith, Sr. could have been brought to Virginia by another James Keith who was his father."--P. 1. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Tennessee, West Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Arkansas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Kansas, Washington, Michigan, Deleware, Maryland, Nevada, Mississippi, Colorado, California, Oregon, Ohio and elsewhere.

William Hill (d.1685) lived in Northumberland County, Virginia during or before 1655. Descendants lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee and elsewhere.
