Het bevat 100 korte dialogen die zonder veel voorbereiding uitgevoerd en gespeeld kunnen worden: er zijn grappige, serieuze, makkelijke, moeilijke, absurde en realistische dialogen. Het is een praktisch en direct bruikbaar boek waarmee elke docent direct aan de slag kan. De dialogen zijn ook zeer geschikt voor begeleiders van amateurtoneel en voor theatertraining. Het boek is opgedeeld in elf hoofdstukken die elk uit een vraag bestaan. Op welke manier ga je de dialoog in? Waar let je op? Samen erachter komen hoe je de dialoog kunt spelen met als insteek een vraag. Aan de hand van de gestelde vragen ontdek je zelf hoe je een tekst kunt lezen en hoe je hem kunt omzetten tot spel. Hij doceert drama op een middelbare school, CKV aan de Hogeschool voor Muziek en Dans te Rotterdam en is directeur van een musical-, cabaret- en jeugdtheaterschool. Bor Rooyackers is acteur, regisseur, auteur en docent. Hij speelt in de cabaretgroep ‘Rooyackers, Kamps & Kamps’. Liesbeth Mende is afgestudeerd als dramaschrijver aan de HKU en heeft diverse publicaties op haar naam staan.
