Jednoho dne ji v parku osloví záhadný černě oděný muž, který jí z neznámých důvodů dá jedinečný a nebezpečný dárek – kouzelnou skříňku s páčkami a různobarevnými tlačítky. Stisknutím páček skříňka vydává buď vzácné stříbrné dolary, nebo nesmírně chutné čokoládičky. Barevná tlačítka jsou destruktivní a mají přímo katastrofické následky. Co se stane, má-li osud města a vlastně i celého světa v rukách dvanáctiletá dívenka?
