Insinuations II
The Heirling Series trilogy features "Insinuations II: Misty Blue." This novel is a fictional succession of short storylines that favor the colors of life. Misty blue describes the color blue that represented peace and serenity for the citizens of Dominic. The hybrid betrayal of unfaithfulness that arose between community leaders Xavier Johns and Coby Kendrick had spilled over from their personal lives into their public ministries. Sin had also infiltrated their township causing a mist of obscurity to distress the institutions of family, church, and state. Corrupt city leaders painted a distorted picture of hope for the residents using the faded shades of government corruption, human trafficking, and murder. However, when the inhabitants of Dominic looked towards heaven for provision, God intervened, and restored them. They were to trust in Him for justice, salvation and mercy. The Insinuations saga continues with a soothing shade of misty blue. This novel is narrated to stimulate the reader''s innermost being to constantly depend on God in every circumstance of life. Captivating his or her thoughts, emotions, and personal impressions. Anthony and Marylene have a passion for teaching God''s word to people of various ages and cultures. Summary and Analysis of War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy

release date: Jun 02, 2018
Summary and Analysis of War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
War and Peace is a novel by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy. It is regarded as a central work of world literature and one of Tolstoy''s finest literary achievements. The novel chronicles the history of the French invasion of Russia and the impact of the Napoleonic era on Tsarist society through the stories of five Russian aristocratic families. Portions of an earlier version, titled The Year 1805, were serialized in The Russian Messenger from 1865 to 1867. The novel was first published in its entirety in 1869. Tolstoy said War and Peace is "not a novel, even less is it a poem, and still less a historical chronicle". Large sections, especially the later chapters, are a philosophical discussion rather than narrative. Tolstoy also said that the best Russian literature does not conform to standards and hence hesitated to call War and Peace a novel. Instead, he regarded Anna Karenina as his first true novel. The Encyclopædia Britannica states: "It can be argued that no single English novel attains the universality of the Russian writer Leo Tolstoy''s War and Peace".

Seeing Beneath the Soil
Scientific soil prospecting methods can give dramatic pictures of buried archaeological sites, and sometimes information on what occurred within them, before any earth has ben removed. Dr Clark, who was one of the earliest to work in this field, has written the first general survey of an increasingly important area of practical archaeology. The emphasis is on the principles and practical application of the well established techniques of resistivity, magnetometry and magnetic susceptibility, with shorter sections on emerging and less common techniques such as ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic methods and phosphate survey. This paperback edition updates and enhances the earlier book, adding new material such as the large-scale evaluation exercises now required as a precondition of planning consent for major developments.

Legal Rules and International Society

Legal Rules and International Society
This book provides an interdisciplinary examination of international law by addressing four critical questions: How are international legal rules distinctive? How does an investigator determine the existence of a rule of international law? Does international law really matter in international politics? and What effect could the changing nature of international relations have on international law? Using Constructivist theory, Arend argues that international law can alter the identity of states, and, consequently, have a profound impact on state behavior.
