Sa'di (c.1213-1291) fue uno de los más grandes poetas y narradores persas. La tradición sufí afirma que cada palabra de Saadi contiene 72 significados, y sus cuentos, sean sencillos, complicados, fascinantes, humorísticos, misteriosos o profundos, siguen ofreciéndonos esos 72 significados a medida que cada uno va entendiéndolos y dejándolos que resuenen en la mente y el corazón.
