- Twenty Unique Original Poems!
- Twenty three hand drawn illustrations to color in!
- Each page printed on a separate sheet to avoid bleeding through to the next!
Twenty fun children's poems accompanied by charming illustrations to colour in spread out over twenty-three single sided pages.I Climbed Aboard a London Bus is the first collaborative effort by poet
Ben Riley and doodle illustrator Steve Squidoodle Turner. These funny, quirky and delightful poems, from the imaginative mind of Ben Riley have been brought to life with exciting and detailed illustrations from colouring book author and artist Steve Squidoodle Turner.
Charming poems such as The Hungry Hippopotamus, I Climbed Aboard a London Bus, Hairy Mary, Juicy Revenge and Don't Lose Your Head will entertain kids of all ages, and the best part is, they can colour the characters and scenarios they have just read, in their own style. The pictures are taken from the hand drawn illustrations by acclaimed colouring book creator Steve Squidoodle Turner - no computer generated images here, these are all from pen drawings.A couple of the poems are over two pages, giving you more to colour. Printed on single sides, so that if you use pens, it won't bleed through to the next drawing.
We do recommend using a separate blank page underneath the drawing you are colouring to save the next picture if you choose to use sharpies or felt tip pens.At the end of the book there is a spare page where you can write your own poem and an illustration to accompany it.
