Abortion is a hot topic in our political world today. I was born in 1930 in Augusta, GA and prematurely weighing 2.5 lbs with a small chance of a healthy survival. Abortion did not enter my parents'' or the doctors'' mind. After an initial struggle against all odds I gained strength and grew up to be a healthy adult. I served our country for 4 years in the US Airforce during the Korean war and made a career in the automobile business until I retired in 2016 at age 86. Mine was a very interesting and eventful life, saved by grace and love. Now, almost 96 years old, I am grateful my parents chose life in view of my premature birth, overcoming the many hardships early on.

Those Thingumajigs are at it again! They slurp their soup and rock their chairs. They never say Thank you and they never say Please. They are a hilarious study in bad manners, but while children are laughing at the Thingumajigs'' antics, they are also learning good manners from each page''s contrasting example.
