Books by Elizabeth M Battrick

Originally published as the official companion to the 1978/88 exhibition at the Tate Gallery, this beautiful book explores the art of Beatrix Potter. The influences of contemporary artists, her flowering as an artist and a writer of books for children, and her later life as farmer and conservationist are all demonstrated through more than 450 colour and black-and-white reproductions of her work. The authoritative text, combined with attractive layout, full index and source list make this a most comprehensive book on one of the greatest twentieth century children's authors and artists.
