A Chronology of Film

release date: Mar 23, 2021
A Chronology of Film
An entirely new and delightful perspective on the history of cinema, this illustrated volume uses timelines to trace its development from the earliest moving images to now. A Chronology of Film presents a fresh perspective on the medium by tracing the complex links between technical innovations, social changes, and artistic interventions in the order that they occurred. Organized around a central timeline that charts the development of film from the earliest moving images to present-day blockbusters, this volume features key films, film commentaries, and contextual information about the period in which they were produced. By revealing the social, political, and cultural environments in which these films were created, this book reveals new insights into great directors like Alfred Hitchcock, Federico Fellini, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Jane Campion, Barry Jenkins, Pedro Almodo´var, and Bong Joon-ho and films such as Bonnie and Clyde, The Godfather, Moonlight, and Parasite. The book features lavish film stills, commentaries, and lively “In Focus” features with information about the social, stylistic, technical, political, and cultural events of each period.

Österlen is situated in the south east corner of Sweden and is know as ́The Garden of Sweden ́for its rich produce and acre upon acre of orchards. As a family, we moved to Simrishamn in Österlen in 2015 which was where I discovered landscape photography. Since the summer of 2015 I have relentlessly pursued photographing the landscapes of Österlen and improving my photographic skills.Over those few short years, I have gained interest from the media, various photographic brands, social media and the community. I decided to publish my first book in the summer of 2020 to celebrate my first 5 years as a landscape photographer. This book is dedicated to showing the beauty that nature has to offer in the south of Sweden.

Two Wildcats and a Bubble Butt

release date: Dec 24, 2019
Two Wildcats and a Bubble Butt
Leah Brownstone is a fiercely independent, determined, brave young woman, just the sort of woman that Tom Jefferson delights in taming. In the isolated community of Xanxta, where slavery is openly legal, has the snatched Leah met her match, or will she be able to defy Tom and all his methods and torments? Lucy Garrington is also a wildcat, but of a very different sort: a sexual submissive by nature, she longs for the sort of experience that Xanxta offers, but when she becomes Xanxta's first voluntary slave, will it prove too much for her? Then there is Slave Ellie, she of the delightful bubble butt, and Adrian, another complication in the slavery that has been imposed on Leah. And can even Leah's superbly honed athletic body cope with the rigours of being a pony girl, much less taking part in the Xanxta Races? Ian Smith's latest book chronicles the way these three teenage girls adjust to their new slave lives and the sometimes surprising and ultimately even uplifting things they discover about their true nature. After 30 years and as many books as a BDSM writer, Ian still creates new and interesting characters, each one unique in their own way.
