Sight words make up over 50% general writing and are the most frequently used words in the English language. Therefore, learning sight words is a crucial goal to learning how to read by the 3rd grades. These words can not be "sounded out", and hence must be learned by sight. This book includes over 200 sight words. This list includes words for children in prekindergarten up to 3rd Grade.

Concepts in this book have been used since the 1940's by teachers, parents, and counselors to teach reading skills. Illustrations are vibrant and delightful to keep children's attention. The text is well written and delivers easy-to-digest information.

This book provides parents, teachers, and counselors with an entertaining way to teach children how to identify sight words. This book uses similar words found in PBS kids, raz kids, funbrain, and starfall books. The books includes a sight words list that can be used to make flashcards. The book contains a free gift to help your child read. This book may be free for Amazon Prime members.
