The acclaimed first volume of this exciting series gave extensive insights into basic techniques of flamenco guitar playing and the two important rhythmic forms (palos) of Solea and Alegrias. This second volume continues on with an exploration of further essential rhythmic palos. The first of these is the Bulerias. Juan Martin brings his many years of experience as an internationally renowned flamenco soloist and accompanist for singers and dancers to unravelling its mysteries, explaining and demonstrating very clearly the different elements of its rhythmic structure and the various ways it may be accented and counted. Of the 2.3 million individuals housed in prison in the United States, it is estimated that 80% of those incarcerated have no high school diploma. Of those, many were pushed out of schools and into the prison industrial complex. Inside prison, many received an informal education from cellblock intellectuals that transformed their lives. This research explores the lives of nine formerly incarcerated individuals and their life before prison, their time inside prison, and their experience with education after prison. All contributors participated in the Transitions program, which provides a cohort model of education at the community college level. This research looks at the role education plays in empowering students to stay free from prison, thereby significantly reducing recidivism rates.

On 9 October 1967, Ernesto Che Guevara, Marxist guerrilla leader and hero of the Cuban Revolution, was captured and executed by Bolivian forces. The research proposed will examine the differences and similarities between the mindsets of people who lead nonprofit Social Entrepreneurial Enterprises (SEEs) and those who manage traditional non-for-profit organizations (NFPs) in Mexico. In particular, the study will seek to identify the extent to which risk orientation, opportunity recognition, self- efficacy, innovativeness, and social capital influence social entrepreneurial behavior. By comparing these two types of leadership roles, we can further our understanding of how some social leaders in Mexico, despite diminishing traditional revenue streams, are able to scale up and sustain their nonprofit organizations.

In particular, the problem of how to apply the two systems of valuation to the same transaction is of widespread concern. Traditional error correction techniques in language teaching include recasting and drills; the teacher usually provides the students with the correct forms, leaving little or no opportunity to involve the students in the correction of their own errors. This paper shares an EFL teacher0́9s awareness of and learning about the correction of errors in oral speech. First, the writer revisits his experience both as a second language learner and as an EFL teacher in his home country Nicaragua. This is followed by an overview of the theoretical issues of Error Correction. An account of the attitudes towards error correction that are associated with the most influential approaches to language teaching is also presented. Finally the teaching and learning implications of using a student-centered approach to error correction are examined.
