Meines Wissens bisher das zweite Werk über Alexander den Großen. Die Darstellung von P. Briant: ''Alexander, Eroberer der Welt'' (BA 12/90) wendet sich an Jugendliche ab 14. Daher wird das vorliegende Buch allen (Schul-)Bibliotheken zusätzlich empfohlen.
