J'étais à la plage, je complétais ma collection de capsules de bouteilles. C’est alors que j’ai vu la chose. J’ai dû la regarder un bon moment. Il faut dire qu’elle avait l’air très bizarre, à la fois triste et un peu perdue. Plantée sur le sable, pas vraiment à sa place. Mais elle s'est montrée très amicale. J’ai joué avec elle une bonne partie de l’après-midi. Les heures passant, il devenait de plus en plus évident que personne ne viendrait la chercher. Je l'ai emmenée chez Pete. Pete a un avis sur à peu près tout. Il m'a dit : « Je peux pas te dire, vieux. C’est vraiment bizarre. Peut-être qu'elle n’appartient à personne. Peut-être qu'elle ne vient de nulle part. Il y a des choses comme ça... tout simplement perdues ».
