Relationship 2.0

release date: Jun 29, 2023
Relationship 2.0
When infidelity strikes a relationship, it can be one of the most devastating experiences that anyone can go through. I can tell you that it''s a journey of rebuilding trust and healing that takes time, effort and commitment, but that healing and rebuilding the relationship into a better, more loving and fulfilling one is entirely possible. While it''s true that the road to recovery can be difficult, it''s also possible to find trust again and rebuild your relationship. In this book, we''ll explore some of the steps that you can take to start the journey towards healing after infidelity. Whether you''re the one who was betrayed or the one who betrayed your partner, know that there is hope for a better future. This book focuses on the rebuild, the future and helping you move past the triggers, automatic negative thoughts and disempowering emotional states. While we can''t change the past, we can focus our attention on the future and creating the relationship you have always wanted and having it grow out of the ashes of the past actions. Open communication and honest conversations are vital in the journey of rebuilding trust. Unfortunately it''s often the lack of real communication that helped lead us to this point in the first place. Partners need to be willing to discuss what led to the infidelity, how they feel, and what they expect from each other moving forward. The infidelity is often just the final chapter in the story that led up to this situation.

Another Fine Mess

release date: Nov 08, 2018
Another Fine Mess
Tim Moore - indefatigable travelling everyman – switches two wheels for four as he journeys across Trumpland in an original Model T Ford. ‘Alarmingly full of incident, very funny – even mildly transformative’ Daily Mail Lacking even the most basic mechanical knowhow, Tim Moore sets out to cross Trumpland USA in an original Model T Ford. Armed only with a fan belt made of cotton, wooden wheels and a trunkload of ‘wise-ass Limey liberal gumption’, his route takes him exclusively through Donald-voting counties, meeting the everyday folks who voted red along the way. He meets a people defined by extraordinary generosity, willing to shift heaven and earth to keep him on the road. And yet, this is clearly a nation in conflict with itself: citizens ‘tooling up’ in reaction to ever-increasing security fears; a healthcare system creaking to support sugar-loaded soda lovers; a disintegrating rust belt all but forgotten by the warring media and political classes. With his trademark blend of slapstick humour, affable insight and butt-clenching peril, Tim Moore invites us on an unforgettable road trip through America. Buckle up!

The Cyclist Who Went Out in the Cold

release date: Jan 10, 2017
The Cyclist Who Went Out in the Cold
Not content with tackling the Italian Alps or the route of the Tour de France, Tim Moore sets out to scale a new peak of rash over-ambition: the 6,000-mile route of the old Iron Curtain on a tiny-wheeled, two-geared East German shopping bike. Moore sets off from the northernmost Norwegian-Russian border at the Arctic winter’s brutal height, bullying his plucky MIFA 900 through the endless sub-zero desolation of snowbound Finland. Sleeping in bank vaults, imperial palaces and unreconstructed Soviet youth hostels, battling vodka-breathed Russian hostility, Romanian landslides, and a diet of dumplings, Moore and his ‘so-small bicycle’ are sustained by the kindness of reindeer farmers and Serbian rock gods, plus a shameful addiction to Magic Man energy drink. Haunted throughout by the border detritus of watchtowers and rusted razor wire, Moore reflects on the curdling of the Communist dream, and the memories of a Cold War generation reared on the fear of apocalypse—at a time of renewed East-West tension. After three months, twenty countries and a fifty-eight degree jaunt up the thermostat, man and bike finally wobble up to a Black Sea beach in Bulgaria, older and wiser, but mainly older.

Accordingly, a nine-step evidence-based decision-making framework is also outlined.

This paper summarises key findings from part 1 of the study, regarding how children and young people conceptualise safety, what gives rise to these perceptions of safety, and issues in talking and listening to children and young people about safety. I Believe in Yesterday

release date: Dec 26, 2008
I Believe in Yesterday
In 1989, Tim Moore moved into the last house in Chiswick with an outside toilet. Intrigued by a subsequent encounter with an elderly former resident, he finds himself inspired to travel back to the land before now, experiencing the hardships and homespun pleasures enjoyed and endured by Moores gone by. The journey that follows takes him through the world of historical re-enactment, sitting at the feet of retromaniacs who have seen their future in the past, and learning their singular ways. Living on bramble leaves, Johnny cake and porridge, Moore travels from the Iron Age to the Steam Age, from Roman legionary, Tudor master to Yankee spy, sharing straw beds and daft hats with period obsessives driven by socio-historical curiosity, disillusionment with the pampered fecklessness of the modern world, or a simple nostalgia for campfires, flatulence and brutality. I Believe in Yesterdayis an odyssey through 2,000 years of filth and fury, where men were men, the nights were black, the world was your outside toilet and everything tasted faintly of leeks.
