Lily the bee woke up one morning to a treat,

Flowers with fresh nectar smelling so sweet.

A happy, smiling Lily flew around for hours,

Collecting sweet nectar from all of the flowers.”

By Valerie Caraotta;
Discover how, just in time, Lily the bee will help Bruce out and how the end result will be for everyone. In poetic rhyme, with fantastic pictures and a great teaching plot,some of the life lessons children can gather from this work include:
– Never judge a book by its cover
– Never underestimate how unlikely individuals can meet and bless each other in unique ways.
– The power of forgiveness
– how much teamwork makes the difference
– Why one should never give up as victory may be around the corner
– The power of sharing and friendships
**Though I have not read the other books in the series, I can highly encourage it based on completing this book. The plot will keep a child's attention and instill in them creative imagination. Parents will enjoy reading this book during quality time with their child. For these reasons, I give this work five stars.
