Other information about u003ciu003e Little Mysteries u003c/iu003e Genre -- Fiction/family life/short stories Tags -- a short story, short mysteries, short mystery stories, short short fiction, mystery fiction, mystery story, family life Excerpt from the book: . . . "Hey, Brian. Wait up," shouted Blazer. He was running to catch up so they could walk up the front steps of the school together. "Did you hear about Amy Sterling?" Blazer was excited and out of breath, but he had a good little bit of gossip and wanted to share it quickly. "She put out for Dusty last night! Do you believe it? She did him in the bathroom. Wow!" "Amy Sterling? Straight-lace Amy? You got to be... No. I... no. Somebody’s pulling your leg." "Yah. Really. That’s what Dusty told Ralph, and Ralph told me," he added. "Dusty? Really? ...no. You can’t trust him to tell you the truth. Why is he doing this? She’s a nice girl. He shouldn’t go around saying stuff like that." Amy Sterling was a quiet girl with a delicate and sensitive disposition. Amy Sterling was one of Cathy’s best friends. Brian told Cathy what Blazer had said, and Cathy told Amy. Of course, Amy denied everything. She said that Dusty had been bothering her for weeks, but she didn’t want anything to do with him. He got angry at her. That’s why he started spreading rumors. Nobody was going to treat him like that and get away with it, he had told her. He was going to get even. She was mortified. ‘Where there’s smoke, there’s fire’ was a hack-kneed phrase that was seeing a new revival. The damage had been done. People, especially young people, generally prefer to believe the worst. It’s so much more exciting. Amy didn’t want to go to school any more. A few people even started wondering about Cathy and Brian. ‘Birds of a feather,’ you know. u003cbu003eEnd of Excerpt Author''s Biou003c/bu003e -- Joyce Zborower graduated from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, in 1965 with a B.S. degree and in 1969 with an M.A. in clinical psychology. Don’t know how to start a garden? or If you''re currently gardening with chemicals and have decided that gardening organically would give you plants with better nutrition and better taste but you don''t want to hang up your tools for 7 years waiting for your soil to heal. GREAT NEWS! NO WORK VEGETABLE GARDENING by Joyce Zborower provides simple, easy-to-follow instructions for building and planting a new organic gardening bed right over an old chemical bed, a grassy spot that''s never been planted before, a rocky area or even in a raised planting bed so you won''t have to bend over to harvest your goodies. And once the bed is ready and planted, any further work on your part is very minimal. And there are full-color photos to show you exactly what to do. Is it really "no work?" . . . No, but it''s as close as you''ll ever get without hiring someone to take care of it for you. Other information about No Work Vegetable Gardening Genre -- Gardening/vegetables Tags -- How to start a garden, raised vegetable garden, square foot gardening, planting a vegetable garden, backyard garden, home vegetable garden, vegetable gardening Here is an excerpt from No Work Vegetable Gardening . . . Many years ago when I was just beginning to learn about organic gardening, I read Ruth Stout’s classic No Work Garden Book in which she recommended 9-or-so inches of hay as a year-round mulch. I busted my you-know-what dragging home 80-90# bales of hay two at a time in the trunk of my car, somehow maneuvering them into my backyard and spreading the hay in my garden, only to find several months later that I had weeds in my yard that I had never seen before in my whole entire life! It took years to get rid of those weeds. In my opinion, in rural areas, hay is fantastic; it’s great for the plants. I just don’t want to have to deal with those field-weed-seeds again. There are other ways to get the “browns” needed for the beds. One of our best sources for good, clean “browns” is that mountain of junk-mail that comes to your house every day. Discard the colored and/or glossy pages (possibly toxic ink), get yourself a quality paper shredder – the smaller the pieces, the quicker they will decompose – and simply run it through the shredder every day instead of throwing it into the garbage or recycling bin. In effect, it is being recycled – into your vegetables. Same with newspapers. You’ll soon have more “browns” than you’ll know what to do with! Mix them with other organic matter when adding them to your bed as they tend to ‘mat’ when clumped together and may form a barrier for plant root growth. Or, use them on top as a final mulch. Another is leaves. Gather them in the fall and store them in those large, black plastic bags somewhere hidden from view in the back yard until they’re needed. Neighbors may even offer to give you theirs. End of Excerpt

Other information about Different Types of Depression Genre ---- Psychology/depression self help Tags ---- depression medication, teenage depression, overcoming depression, medication for depression, treating depression, how to help depression, drugs for depression Excerpt from Different Types of Depression Management of Depression during Pregnancy Exercise, proper nutrition and adequate rest are some of the strategies you can use to relieve the symptoms of depression. Pregnant women are encouraged to get enough exercise and rest in order to manage their moods and prevent the development of chronic depression. Chronic or severe depression requires the intervention of a qualified professional. Psychotherapy is one of the popular treatments for depression. The patient is thoroughly interviewed to determine all the risk factors involved then an appropriate therapy and perhaps some medication is prescribed. The mental health practitioner works hand in hand with the obstetrician to determine the best antidepressant for the patient. This is because antidepressants may have adverse effects on the unborn baby and can even lead to congenital malfunctions. Other maternal complications such as gestational diabetes may also be triggered by the use of antidepressant therapy. It is important while pregnant to watch out for the physical symptoms of depression and take the most appropriate actions in order to prevent further complications for the mother as well as the child. Extra Virgin Olive Oil Explained

Extra Virgin Olive Oil Explained
What IS Extra Virgin Olive Oil? How Do We USE It? WHY Is It Good For Us? How Do We Know What We''re Buying Is REALLY What It Says It Is? Extra Virgin Olive Oil Explained is NOT a cook book. There are no recipes for cooking in the Mediterranean style. There are no pizza recipes. This book answers these and many other questions If anything, you could say this book is a celebration of the benefits the lowly little olive showers on those who embrace its many flavors and colors by using it - both internally (by eating it) and externally (by rubbing it on their skin and in their hair). The health giving benefits of olive oil (anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties) are legendary and can be traced back to its earliest uses well before the time of Christ.
